Some situations are never planned. We do our best to be wise, careful, and discerning, yet life can still take an unexpected turn. Things happen.
In those moments, it’s easy to react based on our emotions, fears, or assumptions. But those are the very moments when God’s Word is meant to shape our response.
Reality doesn’t change the truth of Scripture. Instead, Scripture teaches us how to face reality—with humility, wisdom, grace, repentance when needed, and faith in God’s sovereignty.
The question isn’t, “Why did this happen?” but also, “Now that it has happened, how will I respond in a way that honors Christ?”
Our circumstances may surprise us, but they never surprise God. May our response reflect His character more than our emotions.
