NewSoul is a 'full musician services' in business since 1979 with much experience (Grammy nominated clients included) dealing in management, promotion, production, consultation, artist shopping, etc. at record stores when good friends of mine formed a band called X-15. They were great and needed management. that led to promoting venues like WREX, Gorilla Room, Golden Crown, etc. Then built and man
aged the legendary Gorilla Gardens Rock Theater in 1984-85. Was taken nationally as was hired by the Burning Spear reggae band in a full on management capacity 1985. Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube and others came into the mix. To Santa Fe, NM to run the El Paseo Theater 1986. Shows included Chubby Checker, Queen Ida, Blow Monkeys, Artie Shaw Orchestra and many others. Also promoted at the Club West with acts from True Believers, Karla Bonoff, Arlo Guthrie, etc. then back to Seattle in 1989 promoting the legendary Ballard Firehouse with one offs in many other venues. From Ronnie James Dio, and on down the line, many great shows to work. Current interests include NewSoul Records (see X-15 'bombs and insurance' or STBG 'live at the Lab' on CD Baby), artist shopping to majors, etc. anyway, be in touch man!
