Out on the water with the family, learning from William about the rock iguanas in Exuma. They’re one of the most recognizable native species out here. 🇧🇸

These iguanas are only found on a handful of islands and live entirely off the natural vegetation. If you’re in Exuma, chances are you’ll spot a few, but this island we passed on our boat tour is full of them. 🌴

Staniel Cay is one of those places that pulls you in and keeps you from ever wanting to leave.🌴

It sits right in the middle of everything … pigs, sharks, iguanas, hidden cays, and more. One moment you’re surrounded by nothing but water, the next you hear music, see people gathering, and feel the history of the island all around you.

This is a place you don’t rush. You come by boat, you explore, you come back, and you realize you need more time. Definitely one of my favorite stops in The Exumas. 🇧🇸

Coming back to Pipe Cay always reminds me why this spot became one of my favorites. The swings, the sandbar, the water… it all feels unreal.

I remember us walking across the sandbar on that first trip, looking around and saying, where are we?

I’ve waited a long time to say this… welcome to Baymahni. 🌴

We are officially open, and experiencing this resort come to life has been nothing short of incredible. Over the past 14 months, I’ve watched this vision turn into reality, and seeing every detail finally come together is surreal. But what makes this place truly special isn’t just the views… it’s the people.

I want to give a heartfelt thank-you to my partner, Rodney Burrows. What we’ve built together on this island would not have been possible without Burrows Developers craftsmanship, leadership, and heart for this community. I’m honored to have worked side-by-side with Rodney to bring this resort to life.

And to our hospitality team, Andrea, Avery, and every staff member who pours their energy, pride, and culture into this experience… thank you. Opening week has shown me just how powerful your passion is. The smiles, the warmth, the genuine care… our guests feel it the moment they arrive. That’s what makes Baymahni different.

Two years ago, I fell in love with Exuma and with this resort on Stocking Island. Today, I’m grateful beyond words to finally share it with you. The sense of awe I felt on day one is the same feeling I still get every time I step onto this island.

Compass Cay is one of the most unique spots in The Bahamas… it’s known around the world for its friendly nurse sharks. 🦈

There’s something unforgettable about stepping into the water and realizing these sharks are calm, gentle, and used to being around people. My kids love coming back here every time we’re in Exuma. 🏝️

Walking up to Chat ’N Chill with my wife while the kids are busy running around having the time of their life.🏖️

If you’ve ever been to Exuma, you know this spot. World famous, right around the corner from Baymahni, frozen drinks flowing, stingrays in the water, and the whole family having a blast.

Days like this remind me why Exuma is the best. This island really has it all. 🌴
