Seen 4 big doe tonight, drew back on one but a much larger one came out! They all stayed out of range the rest of the night....better luck tomorrow morning!

Big 8 came rushing in after a doe shortly after the rain stopped. He was about 30 yards out eyeballing me when I took the shot. The GoPro video showed me that I had a lung shot but I waited about 2 hours to track him. I ended up jumping him and he ran off slow. Waited 2 more hours and found him out in the corn! This is my biggest buck with a bow!

After this rain and wind die down a bit more it should be excellent hunting! The deer will be held up in their safe place waiting for it to calm down a bit. As soon as thr weather calms they will all be up and after food since they missed breakfast!

Well. Thats all there is, 13 truckloads and over 3000 peices of firewood. Let's hope its enough to get us through winter. Now, I hunt and then after hunting season i can start cutting for next year!
