CHAPTER 63…
The thoughtfulness of my immediate Family (Malinda, Michala, and Michael II [BJ]), our entire Church Family, our CCFM Nation Family, Friends old and new, and Neighbors near and far has been deeply poignant: I am profoundly touched. Some of the messages are almost enough to provoke tears: my, my… To be entrusted with a place in someone’s heart is a privilege that I find very sobering, almost fearfully so, for God holds us accountable for how we handle hearts.
YOU know who you are, what you have done, and what you have said. YOU have made this birthday season most memorable. I say it fairly often: “People do not have to be kind.” When they are --- and YOU ARE --- I am determined not to take it for granted. Thank you. And in the lingua franca of the classic “testimony service”, “Pray my strength in the Lord.”
Finally, as we traverse Chapter 63, The Psalmist gives us language…
“O God, Thou art my God; early will I seek Thee: my soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see Thy power and Thy glory, so as I have seen Thee in the sanctuary.” Psalms Chapter 63:1-2
