The Scene is a weekly public radio show produced in Indiana that features music in performance from around the great Hoosier state. Each week, we bring listeners an hour of live music performed in local venues catered by a team of human beings who simply love music. Our goal is to promote the Indiana music scene by focusing on the music itself. We want to tell the story of the music happening in o

ur own backyards, to be a spark of conversation between fellow music-lovers, and to give listeners a bit of context about new and upcoming artists, sometimes through interviews with the musicians themselves. The Scene is produced at Indiana Public Radio

If you’ve missed festivals in 2020, Season 11 Episode 2 of The Scene brings you to the Ouibache Music Festival in 2019, a roots music festival in West Lafayette, IN 🌞 Musicians from all over the world come to play music and enjoy the traditions at Ouibache. This episode featured the artist Bing Futch. Using Appalachian mountain dulcimer, Native American flute, ukulele, and a board full of stomp-boxes, Bing Futch captures audiences with his passion and energy 🏔️ You won’t want to miss out on the festival experience.
