This weekend on The Facing Project: Covert Racism & Beyond the Binary

Three women—one Black, one Muslim, and one Native American—share what their lives are like in a predominately white mid-sized Midwestern community. And then, a trans man in Ohio shares his journey with hormone therapy; a non-binary person in Indiana finds acceptance at home; and an Ohio pastor, who struggled with her faith and identity, eventually finds peace at the pulpit.

Jamison-Pippin is joined by David Ambroz to discuss his memoir, A Place Called Home, a story about growing up homeless in New York, Ambroz’s subsequent years in foster care, and eventually becoming an attorney with a vision to change the laws that affect children in poverty.
