Thank you EVERYONE who voted for Bright Night Entertainment at the Best Event DJ in Muncie for the 4th year in a row! Michael and I are honored to get each and every vote, and are touched you guys thought enough of us to vote as much as you did! All we want is your day to be as perfect as possible, and, hopefully, that happened and is why you voted!

Thank you to all the vendors and venues we work at...couldn't do what we do without you!

Shout out to Howell's DJ Service, who does a great job and grabbed a medal again this year!

So, I was thinking about long term. Thinking about my couples who might hve kids and, down the road, be parents of a bride or groom in the distant future.

Get a notebook, write those tunes down and save those songs that made memories. Was there a song a daddy and daughter grew up with dancing too? Was there a song the groom and siblings sang out loud growing up? Was there some road trip song your family sang over and over, creating a memory? Did your daughter say mama for the first time during an Ozzy OR Danzig song? Sometimes having a place to record details can become amazing moments years later.

Just ran another rehearsal today and thought to share something with my followers.

Whatever your guests are signing, be it a guest book, a board, a wooden heart or whatever....bring it to rehearsal and have everyone at rehearsal sign it then.

This does a few things.

1, it shows guests the next day what to do. Sure you can have a sign, but if people see a bunch of signatures, they just tend to sign.

2, and most importantly, it let's all your VIPs sign. During wedding day, that can get lost or forgotten in all the spectacle of getting ready. Then photos happen, then dinner and dancing. By then most of the guests have signed, it it can slip the minds of those closest to the couple.

The closest of the close, be it the wedding party or family, are usually at the rehearsal. Take that opportunity to have them write out their names, so its done already on the wedding day. This waybthe most important people sign it first, and don't have to worry about remembering to sign it on the wedding day.
