Blue Berry Festival is this Friday 11a to 7p downtown Marquette with everything Blue Berry! The Great Lakes Radio Inc. big 34 foot stage will be downtown with even more new audio gear installed by Luke Noordyk - the bands will sound better than ever! Steve Sandner Music plus 906JAZZ-n-Blues kick off with beautiful tunes from 11a to 2:15p. Flat Broke Blues Band continues the tunes at 3, and a fun soulful band plays at 5p. Music, gifts, food, and fun! Come on downtown Marquette at 11a Friday morning 7-31-26.

Thank you Thank you NMU Northern Michigan University for the room in the Northern Center to play as 906Jazz! We witnessed exquiste unique African art and their stories. We enjoyed goodies as friends listened and chatted. It was a good nite where dollars were raised by NMU students for Starlink Internet services to be installed in the learning center at the refugee camp in Malawi. Glenn Bengry jammed as did Michael Waite, Luke Noordyk, Brian Seppela and me Todd Noordyk had a ball playin' da tunes with 906Jazz.

Glenn brought a special guest Don Cagen, a prominent Chicago-based trumpeter, bandleader, and co-founder of Cagen Music LLC, specializing in high-energy event entertainment and weddings since the 1970s. Known for leading the 10-16 piece Don Cagen Orchestra alongside vocalist Becky Cagen, he has performed at major Chicago galas, for President Obama's Inaugural Ball, and worked with jazz legend Dave Brubeck. https://cagenmusic.com/
