Which November 2026 comics deserve your preorder dollars—and which buzzworthy releases are worth watching before they disappear from the shelves? This episode of Campus Comics Cast cuts through a crowded catalog to spotlight the upcoming books, facsimiles, graphic novels, collector editions, and possible sleeper picks that caught two longtime comic readers’ attention.

If you are trying to decide what to preorder, avoid missing a potentially underprinted issue, or simply want fresh reading ideas beyond the usual superhero pull list, this episode gives you a practical, collector-minded tour of November’s solicitations. Scott Reed and Mike Atchison weigh familiar names such as Firestorm, Batman, Dune, Robin Hood, and Flash Gordon alongside unusual indie concepts, affordable one-shots, new graphic novels, and reprints that make costly classics easier to own.

A curated list of November 2026 comic, graphic-novel, and collectible releases worth considering for their reading or preorder list.

Clear, candid perspectives on likely highlights, including Fury of Firestorm, Dune Messiah Book 1, The Forgiven Divine, Retirement Plan, Robin Hood, Chaincata, Ghost Drive Station, and more.

Practical collecting insight on facsimiles, variant-cover gimmicks, low-cost entry points, potential demand, reprints, and why some releases may be better bought to read than to speculate on.

Play the episode now to build a sharper November preorder list and uncover a few under-the-radar books before final-order decisions pass you by.

This episode Mike is back in Columbus, OH and the home of a most appropriately named comic shop. World’s Greatest Comics, World's Greatest Comics, in Westerville, OH (part of the Columbus metro) is one of the area’s longest running, most collector friendly comic shops — a classic “big back issue wall” store with a reputation for deep back issue stock, friendly staff, and a clean, well organized layout. WGC offers new releases, graphic novels, toys, and most notably, a huge selection of back issues. World’s Greatest Comics sits comfortably among the top “collector heavy” shops that Mike has been to. It was a blast to get to know the owner, Jeff Patrick, and hear his interesting story!

Then, Mike is joined by the inimitable Captain Entropy in the review of the first prose non-fiction book to be reviewed on the Roadshow! The Ten-Cent Plague is a fast, vivid history of the 1950s anti comic book crusade, tracing how America’s booming postwar comics industry was nearly wiped out by moral panic, public burnings, and Senate hearings that accused comics of corrupting youth; David Hajdu (HAY-doo) blends cultural reporting and creator biographies to show how the backlash led to the Comics Code Authority and reshaped the medium for decades.

World’s Greatest Comics is located at 5974 Westerville Rd, Westerville, OH 43081, and keeps active communication through its official website (wgcomics.com), its primary email [email protected], and a regularly updated page under the store’s name, making it easy to visit in person or follow online for hours, announcements, and collection buying updates.

You can hear more from the illustrious and enigmatic Captain Entropy on podcasts such as Who’s Editing, Batman Knightcast, The Longbox Crusade, and many more!

A big thanks to Jeff for taking time out of his busy day to tell me about World’s Greatest Comics and giving the great book recommendation, and thanks to Captain Entropy for joining me in the adventure of reading The Ten-Cent Plague!
