Montclair Film’s EMERGING FILMMAKER COMPETITION (EFC) celebrates the work of filmmakers who are in the 6th through 12th grades. These films, adjudicated by a jury of film professionals, represent a wide range of styles and voices that showcase the diverse talents of young people who are using cinema to tell their stories. Categories include Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Animation, Horror, Experimental, Social Impact plus a new Children’s Resilience in Film category.

Central New Jersey has a hot new talent show for ages 5-25! We are currently accepting video submissions for the Jersey Talent show! Now until March 18, young people (5 to 25) have the chance to submit an audition video of a performance. Talents can include vocalists, dancers (solo or group), instrumentalists, bands, poets, jugglers, magicians, comedians, etc. Video should be a maximum of 2 minutes.
