His guidance is simple and energizing:
“Keep doing it. Engage the community.”
“If you want to make it your life’s passion. Go for it.”
“If you can imagine it, we can build it for you.”
That last part doubles as BrickCrafting’s unofficial mantra—a promise rooted in a lifetime of following the brick road.
And that footlocker full of bricks? It never stayed closed for long. “I really think that’s the heart of this,” he says — that creativity doesn’t leave us, even when we leave it for a while. Some of us just need to rediscover the right piece.

As we celebrate one year of incredible growth at Neighbors of Murray City, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We are continually inspired by the supportive residents who welcome our magazine into their homes, the client partners who believe in our mission, and the expert contributors who generously share their knowledge.

Wells4Wellness began with 33 wells drilled in the first ten years–now on pace to drill 1-2 per month, with a total of 172 wells in operation today. Locations for the wells come from a ‘wish list’ that includes churches, schools, orphanages, and clinics. Each site includes a ‘conversation wall’ to be utilized when a group is waiting for their water containers to be filled. A trough also occupies the area under the spigot to catch drips and run into a basin from which the animals can drink. Not one drop of water is wasted.
