🐾🎂 Celebrating Our Girl Mel 🎂🐾

According to her adoption papers, today is Mel’s birthday! She’s about 7–8 years young, but still has the heart (and zoomies) of a pup.

If you’ve been here for a while, you might remember Mel’s story, she was surrendered to the shelter while in active labor. She went through an emergency C-section, delivered five rowdy little boys, and then had to undergo another surgery to repair her incision before we adopted her.

Since then, she’s spent her postpartum recovery poolside with us — soaking up the sun, snacks, and all the love she deserves. A true “mother of mothers” moment for this sweet little mama. 💕

Today we’re celebrating her special day with a pup cake, a new toy, and all the belly rubs her heart desires. Happy birthday, Mel! 🐶🎉

Here’s to all the mamas both human and fur who give so much love and still find time to heal, play, and rest. ❤️

A cheers 🥤to the moms who somehow keep the magic alive ✨ when everything else feels like it’s melting down.

We see you, we are you. 💥❤️✊

Today we’re holding space for the loss of a true icon who reminded us that motherhood — in all its messy, late-blooming, beautiful glory — can be one of life’s greatest adventures.

Diane Keaton didn’t just play moms on screen — she became one later in life, adopting her two children, Dexter and Duke, on her own terms. She once said,

“Motherhood has completely changed me. It’s the most humbling experience I’ve ever had.”

And we felt that.
Through every role — from juggling work and bottles in Baby Boom, to learning to let go in Because I Said So, to anchoring her family with heart and humor in The Family Stone — Diane reminded us that there’s no single way to be a mother. Just love, lessons, and showing up the best you can and owning your motherhood.

She was the mom who made us laugh, cry, and sometimes cringe with recognition — and we loved her for it.

Thank you, Diane, for portraying the truth of motherhood: strong, imperfect, evolving, and full of grace. 🤍

Rest easy Mrs. Banks.

🎃✨ It’s officially OCTOBER, mamas! ✨🎃
You know what that means… pumpkin spice everything, cozy flannels, and Uggs making their annual comeback. 🍂☕👢

Throwing it back to my all-time favorite Mom Culture Halloween moment — the ‘Basic Mom’ Costume. Because let’s be real, we’ve all rocked this look at some point (and honestly, still do year-round 😏).

Included in the “costume”:

✔️ Graphic Tee
✔️ Flannel shirt
✔️ Uggs
✔️ Pumpkin Spice head crown
❌ PSL not included (but highly recommended).

Tag your fellow Basic Mom bestie below and let’s kick this spooky season off right.

Happy National Daughters Day ✨💖

18 years, having the best daughter a girl could ask for, you, my sweet Lily Pie, changed my entire life, and because of you, I am a whole person.

And to my fur daughters seeing me through I'd be lost without you, Mel & Roxy 🐾🐾

Hey everyone!😊

I had a lovely little chat last night with one of my favorite therapists,

We caught up on everything—life, hormones, and, of course, our businesses!

I shared how tough it’s been for me these past three years, not just with hustle burnout, but also managing the emotional weight of keeping my business going when the world feels, well, kind of icky right now. It really warmed my heart when she said my space here has never felt “salesy” to her. That’s so important to me because I want Mom Culture to feel genuine and relatable! Honestly, if it were just about making money,
I would have given up a long time ago.

I’ve been chatting a bit about shirts and my limited stock lately, and I could really use your honest thoughts. Right now, preorders are the best way for me to produce items, and luckily, our turnaround times have always been quick thanks to our amazing production team. This approach helps lower garment waste and lets me manage finances better as a small business.

So, I’d love to know: Have you been waiting for something to come back to the shop? And would you be open to preordering to snag your desired item?
Your feedback means the world to me!

💖 Thank you!
