‎Karnplay City, Nimba County — August 9, 2026: The Nimba County Electoral District #3 Sports Steering Committee extends its profound appreciation to all sons and daughters, supporters, friends, and well-wishers of District #3 for their continued generosity and unwavering support toward the district’s team in the ongoing Nimba Electoral District League in Ganta City, Nimba County.

‎The Committee is particularly grateful to everyone who has contributed to the success of the team through cash, food, water, energy drinks, sporting materials, transportation support, and other essential items.

‎These contributions have provided the team with the motivation and resources needed to compete strongly and represent District #3 with pride.

‎So far, District #3 has demonstrated an impressive performance in the competition, winning both of its opening group-stage matches.

‎In its first game, District #3 secured a convincing 5–0 victory over Electoral District #7.

‎ The team followed up that performance with another important victory on Saturday, August 8, 2026, defeating the host Electoral District #1 by one goal to nil (1–0).

‎The Sports Steering Committee believes these victories are a direct reflection of the collective commitment, unity, sacrifices, and support demonstrated by the people of District #3.

‎As the team prepares for its final group-stage encounter against Electoral District #8 on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the Committee is calling on all supporters to double their support and encouragement as the team continues its journey toward victory.

Minister Anthony Myers Donates US$400 to District #7 Sports Steering Committee.

GANTA CITY- Minister of Finance for Fiscal Affairs Anthony G. Myers has donated US$400 to the District #7 Sports Steering Committee in support of the district’s participation in the ongoing Inter-Electoral District League.

Presenting the donation, Minister Myers wished the team success in the competition and assured the committee of his continued support as the team progresses. He said he would continue to identify with and support the team in the coming stages of the tournament.

Receiving the donation, District #7 Sports Steering Committee Chairman Oliver Wonpleh expressed appreciation to Minister Myers for the gesture. He said the committee remains committed to doing everything possible to ensure that the District #7 team performs well and brings the championship trophy home.

The committee further thanked Minister Myers for standing with the team and contributing to its efforts throughout the competition.
