This week we were at Colbert Heights High School replacing the overhead rigging on their stage in the Multi-purpose room. The existing rigging was dated, rusted, and most was original to the building. The existing rigging has now been replaced with over 500’ of chain, 325 Shackles of Various Sizes, and 175 linear feet of new batton pipe added. This will enhance and help take their shows to the next level by adding the ability to use backlighting and top lighting more effectively. On Saturday night, we had the privilege to provide our Production Services in the form of Audio for the band Showdown. We provided, 4 QSC KW-153 Mains, 4 JBL SRX 928 Subwoofers, Midas M-32 Console, Midas DL-32 Stagebox, Our JBL SRX 812 Wedges, and our Festival Mic Kit. This week we completed an install that has been in the works for almost a year. Gateway Church in Russellville, AL experienced a devastating fire in their main sanctuary almost 2 years ago. We were tasked with bringing the technical side of this project quite literally out of the ashes and create a sleek and streamlined design, consisting of all Audio, Video, Stage Lighting, Security, Network and Telecommunication Infrastructure elements. We relied on staples in the industry for our product selections. JBL, Allen & Heath, ADJ, Roland, Vaddio, Crown, Ubiquiti, Hikvision, QSC, and ETC. We installed 10 JBL SRX 906 Line array Elements for Mains and 2 JBL SRX 918’s for Subs in the main Sanctuary, as well as an Allen & Heath QU-32 Digital Audio Console. 13 Custom configured, labeled, and wired Floor Pockets were installed in the stage floor for hooking up the band. We used 5 QSC CP-10’s for monitors. 8 ADJ Encore Profile Pro Ellipsoidal fixtures were hung to wash the stage and controlled by an ETC Colorsource 20 Console. The LED Wall is 16 panels of ADJ WMS 2 2.9 mm with a Novastar Processor. 2 Vaddio PTZ Cameras were installed to use with the Livestream setup. We installed multiple TV’s thru-out the building all with a dedicated SDI Video feed and a hardwire Network Lines. Wireless Access points were hung thru out the campus, and dedicated Network Lines ran to all offices and FOH. In the Youth room upstairs we installed 2 QSC CP 12 Powered speakers, as well as integrating in their existing, older Allen & Heath QU-32. We also installed floor pockets in their stage. The original telecommunication phone system was damaged in the fire, so we ripped all of what was left of it and completely re-wired their phones in the church. We installed JBL ceiling speakers in the hallways and lobby, all with volume controls. Hikvision Security Cameras were installed thruout the campus. There were Miles upon Miles of low voltage wire we pulled in this church, mostly West Penn. We want to thank Nicholas R. Recently, we were asked by our good friends at Lil’ Smokies in Iuka, MS to come out and install a multi-zone background music audio system for their restaurant. So we did just that. We gave them independent control of each dining area, as well as the parking lot, Party Room, and Kitchen. We even installed a microphone input in the party room for those special occasions. Thank you Cliff and Jessica for putting your trust in Axis and allowing us to make this system work for you. This past weekend, we were Happy to provide AVL Support to Deshler Performing Arts for their Production of Frozen Jr. For Lighting we provided 4 ADJ Vizi CMY 300 Hybrid Moving Lights, 30' of Medium Duty Bolted Truss, 2 16' Applied Electronics Crank Lifts, an Elation Opto Splitter, 2 Magmatic Crisp Snow Machines, a Base Hazer, 8 RGBW LED Pars, and a MA Coommand wing for Control. For Audio, we provided 2 QSC KW-153 Main Speakers, 2 JBL SRX 928 Dual 18" Subwoofers, a Midas M-32 Console, a Midas DL32 Stage Box, and 6 Sennheiser EW-D wireless headset mics. For Video, we provided 2 Panasonic 6k Lumen DLP Projectors Stacked in our custom cage, and a Computer for Graphics. Last Thursday, Russellville Middle School's Show Choir Students performed MTI's Broadway Junior Review - Pure Imagination. For Lighting, we provided 10 ADJ Vizi CMY 300 Hybrid Moving Lights, 2 Elation Six Bar 1000's, a Base Hazer, and a HES Road Hog Console for Control. For Video, we provided 2 Panasonic 8.5K Lumen DLP Projectors Double Stacked in our Custom Configured Cage. For Audio, we provided 10 Sennheiser EW-D Wireless Systems. So glad to see this finally come to fruition. We installed this projection system in the Dutton Theater about a year and a half ago and they are finally opening the show. It’s a 360° wrap around immersive experience. Projection on all sides around you. We used 13 projectors that were 11 K lumens each. It turned out beautiful. If you’re ever in Branson, Missouri and looking for something to do please check this immersive theatre attraction out. You will not be disappointed.

Recently, Russellville High School’s Musical Theatre Department put on an enchanting performance of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella Youth Edition. For Sound, we provided 10 Sennheiser Wireless EW-D Headset Mics, 3 QSC K-12 Monitors, and a 6 Station Wireless Intercom Headset System. For Lighting, we provided 10 ADJ Vizi CMY 300 Hybrid LED Moving Heads, 8 Jolt 300 Strobes(Used as LED Washes in this application), 2 Elation SixBar 1000’s, 1 Custom Alley Cat 110V 3 Phase Power Distro, 1 Elation Opto Branch, 1 Base Hazer, 2 Confetti Storms, and all seamlessly controlled by our GrandMA Command Wing and H5 Touch Screen Computer. For Video, we used 2 of our Panasonic 8.5K DLP Projectors, Double Stacked in our custom projector cage. Last Friday, we provided Audio, Lighting, and Video at Mars Hill Bible School for their annual Benefit Dinner Celebration with Keynote Speaker Willie Robertson.
For Audio in the Main Room, we provided 16 JBL SRX 906 Line Array Elements, 2 JBL SRX 928 Subwoofers, a Midas M32R Console, and a Midas DL 16 Stage Box.
For Lighting in the Main Room we provided 6 ETC Source 4 Leko with 19 degree tubes, 15 Elation SixBar 1000 LED Bars, 8 RGBW LED Pars, 4 Vizi CMY 300, 16 RGB LED Pars, 6 High End Systems SBPC, 2 Base Hazers, 1 Elation Opto Spliter, Over 1200’ of Festoon Lights Suspended from the Ceiling, and a Grand MA Command Wing for Control.
For Video in the main room, we provided 64 Panels of Absen A6 Led, a Rear Projection Screen, and a Panasonic 8K Projector. We also used our Canon Camera for close up shots.
In the overflow room, we used 2 QSC KW153 Tops, 2 QSC KS 118 Subs, a front projection screen, and a Panasonic 8K Projector.

Recently, we had the opportunity to provide Lighting and atmospheric effects to The Phil Campbell High School Drama Department for their Broadway Production of Mean Girls Jr. We provided 8 Stryker LED Moving Head Washes, 4 ADJ Vizi CMY 300 Hybrid Moving Heads, A Spotlight, a Base Hazer, and a Road Hog for system control.
