⚠️ Consider this your warning before you meet Ashley:
She will tell you she’s “just going to look” at the thrift store.
She is lying.
She will find something nobody else would have noticed, immediately decide it belongs in her house or her booth, and somehow convince you that it was a necessity.
She has a dangerous ability to turn a $3 piece of forgotten junk into a whole aesthetic. Give her an old lamp, a vintage dish, or something from the 1970s and she’ll look at it like she just discovered buried treasure.
She’s also going to say, “Wait… I have an idea.”
Run.
That sentence means you are about to be recruited into a craft, a room makeover, a thrift trip, a video, a booth project, or some completely unnecessary adventure that will somehow become one of your favorite memories.
She notices everything. Weird little details. Vintage treasures. Things other people walk right past. And unfortunately for her wallet, she cannot unsee them.
She’s fiercely protective of her people, loves her family hard, and has a heart that is considerably softer than she lets on.
She’ll make you laugh, probably send you a random video, talk your ear off about something she’s currently obsessed with, and somehow work Jesus, thrifting, vintage Christmas ornaments, and a completely unrelated story into the same conversation.
She’s not particularly interested in being “normal.”
She’d rather be real, a little chaotic, slightly overdressed in vintage charm, and having a good time.
So yes…
Consider yourself warned.
If you meet Ashley, you’re probably leaving with a thrift-store recommendation, a new project, three stories you didn’t ask for, and the feeling that you’ve known her way longer than you actually have.
Proceed accordingly. 😂☕️
