The Ravenna softball team leaned on what it had all season -- dominating pitching, a relentless batting lineup, and air-tight defense -- en route to defeating Grass Lake, 4-2, and capturing the MHSAA Division 3 state title on Saturday.

A 40-1 record. The first softball state title in school history. The first high school softball state championship in Muskegon County history.

What a team. What a season.

The Ravenna softball team capped a dream, 40-1 season by capturing an MHSAA Division 3 state championship yesterday at MSU's Secchia Stadium.

Moments after Ravenna defeated Grass Lake in the championship game, 4-2, it was time to celebrate.

Dozens of photos from the trophy and medal presentation, postgame interviews, TikTok behind-the-scenes, and a welcome-home parade through the town of Ravenna.
