Every year we host a holiday gathering for our patrons, friends and extended family that are home for the holidays. The OBN Muskogee Drug Task Force this morning seized 10 pounds of m**h during a Search Warrant as part of an investigation into drug trafficking in northeastern Oklahoma. One person was arrested. This is an ongoing investigation. The OBN Muskogee Task Force is comprised of Agents and Officers from OBN, Muskogee PD and Muskogee County Sheriffs Department. You can anonymously report criminal drug activity in your community by sending OBN a Facebook DM.

On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, the OBN Muskogee Task Force served a Search Warrant resulting in the seizure of 10.7 pounds of co***ne. This task force, comprised of members from OBN, the Muskogee Police Department and the Muskogee County Sheriff's Department started the investigation in November of 2023 after receiving information that the target of the investigation, John Cruz, was in possession of large quantities of co***ne. Task Force officers interviewed Cruz at his place of employment, the Muskogee Civic Center, while simultaneously serving a Search Warrant at his residence where the 10.7 pounds of co***ne was seized, along with 4 handguns. Cruz was transported and booked into the Muskogee County Jail. This investigation is on-going.

John Cruz was arrested Wednesday on a complaint of aggravated trafficking of illegal drugs, according to the Muskogee County/City Detention Center jail booking recap report.
