Meet Dr. Nicole Lampo: Passionate Physical Therapist and Lymphedema Specialist

Dr. Nicole Lampo, DPT, CLWT, has been practicing as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the Myrtle Beach area for 14 years. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she grew up on the Grand Strand, attending local schools and eventually earning degrees from both HGTC and Coastal Carolina University.

Dr. Lampo went on to earn her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia before returning to her roots to help others. Dual certified in Lymphedema and Wound Care, she is also a teaching professional through ILWTI (International Lymphedema and Wound Training Institute).

While Healing Journey provides general physical therapy services, its specialization in Lymphedema and Wound Care sets it apart. The clinic offers comprehensive treatments for conditions such as chronic venous insufficiency, lymphatic oncology treatment, and joint replacement rehabilitation.

Dr. Lampo and her team of four certified Lymphedema specialists are dedicated to offering personalized care plans, helping patients reduce swelling and improve mobility, often from the very first visit.

Dr. Lampo and her team’s extensive experience in Lymphedema and Wound Care is what truly distinguishes Healing Journey from other clinics in the Myrtle Beach area. They understand the challenges of living with excessive swelling and create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs. The team’s commitment to continuing education ensures that their patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments available.
