For our 3rd Meet The DJ Team post, we’re going to hop down to our South Carolina Branch (specifically Myrtle Beach and the Charleston area) and introduce James Day, AKA DJ Dayz . This guy isn’t afraid to take on any DJ or MC challenge, and that’s an absolutely great thing in his market because Myrtle Beach and Charleston have a completely different atmosphere and vibe from our VA clients.
Originally from Danville, KY, he then moved to VA where he DJed for roughly 4 years and then hopped down to Myrtle Beach, SC where he currently resides and asked if we wanted to expand down that way... and the rest is history!
The variety of events James has taken on in such a short time is simply mind-blowing. Myrtle Beach and the Charleston area have brought on opportunities at night clubs, concerts, festivals, and more. Last year, he opened for ALABAMA, MCed for ESPN, DJed for Broadway at the Beach, Lexus USA, Coastal Carolina University, Univ of SC, RipTydz, Dick’s Last Resort, Ole’ Irish Pub and so many more. Oh yeah, and he still entertains for weddings as well!
He enjoys playing any type of music that fits the event and client’s needs, but soon found he truly has a passion for House, Club and EDM style music. This helps bring a breath of fresh air to his mixes so it’s not just the same ol’ track you hear everywhere else.
