Exciting time of the year for dog owners & horse lovers!

END-OF-SUMMER BEACH REMINDERS 🌊

While Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, we’re fortunate to have plenty of beach days still ahead!

With the holiday behind us, a few beach rules are changing:

🐾 Animals: Dogs and other animals are now allowed on the beach at any time of day. They must remain on a leash no longer than 7 feet. And, as always, please clean up after your pets!

🚲 Bicycles: Bicycles are also permitted on the beach at any time of day.

🚗 Golf carts: You’ll have to wait a little longer to drive on the beach. Golf carts are permitted Nov. 1 through Feb. 28 with a valid state permit and a licensed driver.

🐴Horses: Seasonal restrictions remain in place for horseback riding on the beach as well. Horses are permitted on the beach from Nov. 1 through Feb. 28, and only within the designated equestrian zone. The zone is located along the central portion of the beach, south of Myrtle Beach and north of Surfside Beach.

Enjoy the beach and help us keep it clean and safe for everyone!
