Why does December feel like a full-time job with overtime and zero days off? I swear moms are out here doing Christmas magic, memory-making, end-of-year everything… and everyone else thinks the elves do it. No. It’s me. I’m the elves.

My daughter scored a 9.7 on bars this weekend, placed 2nd 🥈 and I cried in the bleachers like a feral mom. Would do it again.

Today didn’t go at all how I expected… it went better.
First meet of the season, cold rainy drive, a whole day on the road — and my girl walked away with a 9.7 on bars, second place, and third all-around.
I’ll never get tired of watching her chase the thing she loves. 🤍✨

Can’t believe it’s already the first week of December… I’m trying so hard to not let this month run me over. So we’re slowing down on purpose. Coffee, Christmas lights & and soft music in the background. Just a tiny moment to remind myself that peace doesn’t happen by accident.

✨ Vlogmas Day 2 ✨
Some mornings start slow, some start loud, and some start with a kid asking 47 questions about my Bible study before I even finish my coffee. And honestly? That’s my favorite kind of December.

Even when I wake up with the kids, I still ground my day in the Word — interruptions, snuggles, toothbrush breaks and all. We’re working through Isaiah 7:14 for Christmas School, singing “Mary, Did You Know,” reading A Christmas Miracle for Jonathan Toomey, and today we carved soap bars since the main character is a woodcarver.

It wasn’t perfect, but it was sweet. And it was ours. ❤️🎄
