You guys told me I tried the WRONG mac & cheese last time 🧀 I wasn’t a fan of Velveeta, so today I finally tried Kraft for the first time!
Did I pick the right one this time? 👀And be honest — Kraft or Velveeta?

Apparently I’m a terrible content creator because I’m posting our Vegas trip 3 weeks later 😁 But better late than never!...

Apparently I’m a terrible content creator because I’m posting our Vegas trip 3 weeks later 😁 But better late than never!
A little photo dump from our Las Vegas babymoon 🎰✨ Our last vacation as just the two of us before our baby boy gets here 💙
We ate way too much good food, walked way too many miles, explored Vegas, relaxed, laughed, and just enjoyed having this time together.
It feels crazy knowing that the next time we take a trip, our little family will look completely different 🥹
Definitely wanted to save these memories here because this trip was such a special little chapter for us.
Vegas, you were fun. Now back to waiting for baby boy. 👶🏼💙

The package said “SUPER SWEET,” so obviously I had to find out 👀 In Russia, we usually just boil corn and eat it simply, so that’s exactly how I tried this one!

Have you ever tried purple corn?! And be honest… would you buy this or stick with regular corn?

Russian Chicken & Mushroom Julienne 🇷🇺🍄

The name “julienne” comes from French, but in Russia, жульен is a completely different thing — a creamy, cheesy mushroom dish that’s been a classic for generations. And today I’m making mine with chicken, all in ONE skillet! 🤤

Ingredients:
• 2.3 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces
• 24 oz mushrooms, sliced
• 1 large onion, diced
• 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
• 3 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp oil
• 3 tbsp flour
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup milk
• ½ cup sour cream
• 1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella & Parmesan
• Salt & black pepper
• Pinch of nutmeg
• Fresh dill or parsley

How to make it:
Brown the chicken in a hot skillet, then remove it. Cook the mushrooms until they release their liquid and start to brown. Add the onion and cook until soft. Add butter and flour and cook for about 1 minute.

Slowly stir in the heavy cream and milk. Once the sauce thickens, add the sour cream, garlic, salt, pepper and a tiny pinch of nutmeg.

Add the chicken back in, mix in some of the cheese, then cover the top with the rest. Cover and cook on low for 3–5 minutes, until the cheese is completely melted. 🤤
Serve it hot with fresh or toasted bread!

Have you ever tried this corn?! I saw this purple corn at the store and I had never tried it before, so of course I had to buy it! 🌽 It’s called Delicious Wild Violet Super Sweet Corn, and it’s grown in Virginia! 🇺🇸 I couldn’t believe how colorful it was, and now I can’t wait to see how it tastes! Have you tried this corn before? What did you think of it? It cost $5.99 for 4 ears. Would you try it? 👇

Homemade PLOV 🥩🍚 One of those meals that makes the whole house smell amazing 🤤

Ingredients:
• 1.5–2 lb beef, cut into chunks
• 2 cups basmati or long-grain rice
• 2 large onions, sliced
• 3 large carrots, cut into thin strips
• 1 whole head of garlic
• 1/3–1/2 cup oil
• 1–1½ tbsp plov seasoning
• Salt + black pepper
• Hot water

How to make it:
Brown the beef in hot oil until nicely caramelized, then remove. Cook the onions until golden, add the carrots and cook another 7–10 minutes. Return the beef, add the seasoning, salt and pepper, then add enough hot water to just cover the meat. Simmer for about 35–45 minutes.

Meanwhile, rinse the rice several times until the water runs almost clear and soak for 20–30 minutes.

Place the whole garlic head into the meat mixture. Drain the rice and spread it evenly on top — don’t mix it in! Carefully add hot water until it sits about ½ inch above the rice.

Cook uncovered over medium heat until most of the water is absorbed. Reduce heat to low, cover and steam for 25–30 minutes. Gently mix everything together and enjoy!
