Nautican Foundation We enjoy it now. We're responsible for its future. For our generation. For the next. For Nantucket.

Our name is inspired by one of the original Wampanoag translations for Nantucket, "Nauticon," which meant “faraway island.” We aim to continually motivate the next generation of Nantucket Island residents and visitors to be aware of and supportive of local non-profit organizations that benefit the island, its community, and its people. We also help bridge the gap between Nantucket’s non-profits an

d a support base of young professionals. Our generation, like those before, has made countless memories on the island, and it is up to us to preserve Nantucket for the future.
