I think this is day 5??? A post each day driving to work until I work my way out of my warehouse J•O•B with a side hustle!

Date: Tuesday October 17th
Time: 10:15am change up in my schedule for the next two weeks because I’m training a new class of AA’s for AFM. 😁I know that may not make sense to most but 😊🤷🏼‍♀️
Weather: 55° gorgeous brisk fall like day.
On the radio: Michael Jackson “Wanna Be startin’ something”
Age: 50
Mood: Contemplative. Realizing more and more that finding something that can be financially rewarding and create financial freedom is absolutely imperative because the thought of life being as it is for the unforeseeable future just feels unacceptable and rather sad really.

Weather: 68° yet another insanely divine day. One of the things I look forward to the most of working myself out of my J•O•B is being able to enjoy the beautiful days without sleeping thru the first half of the day and watching the clock the second half knowing that I have to go into work.

Don’t be a s**tty person.❌🫵🏻💩

Every second of every day, we get to choose who we would like to be and how we’d like to react.

🤔 Split-second choices that have ripple effects, whether we realize it or not.

So, this is a gentle reminder, as much for myself as for anyone reading this… 🌟 Take an extra second, when responding, to choose a quieter, calmer, kinder reaction.

💭 Think before you speak 🗣️

🗨️💥 Words once spoken cannot be unspoken and what we say oftentimes has a greater impact on the person hearing our words than our physical actions do.

I could not agree more.

What do you think?

Once the decision has been made to ACT it’s like reaching the top of a hill on a bicycle and then it’s like the momentum of the decision carries you along like a wave.

Whatever you’re thinking about doing decide that it’s time to ACT.

Waiting around for a sign or the perfect time or whatever else you’re telling yourself you’re waiting for is doing nothing but wasting time that you could be using to do whatever it is you’re afraid to do.

😁✌🏻that felt like a long sentence LOL. Big sign and moving right along.

Here’s what I always ask myself:

What’s the worst thing that could happen if I try something new and it doesn’t work?

Failure!!! I’ll fail. And seriously that’s not the end of the world is it? People will judge? Who gives a crap. People judge you regardless. It doesn’t take something new to be judged it just gives those looking for a reason, the perfect reason to be loud about their judgements. Again, whatever. People don’t pay your bills therefore you shouldn’t pay those people any mind at all. YOU DO YOU.

The flip side of asking myself that first question is the follow up to that question. What’s the worst thing that could happen if I DON’T try something new?

I’ll never know! I’ll always have the what if and that’s unacceptable. The not knowing if it would have been a massive success would drive me absolutely bananas. I will not live with regrets for what I didn’t try only “oh well at least I tried” and the occasional Oops 🙊. Those I can live with.

Action stomps out fear.
Inaction feeds your fear.

Current Vibe…..overalls and a “Watch me JAMF” attitude ✌🏻😁

According to my kids I’m too old for overalls.

How do it feel about that? Well, I’m wearing overalls so that should tell you how I feel.

Here’s the thing….. opinions are like A**holes. We all have one. No big deal. Moving right along.

What does matter is that you don’t allow the opinions of others to stop YOU from doing & being exactly what & who you want to be & do 🙌🏻 (did that make sense?)

You do YOU 🫵🏻period. End of story.

When things aren’t happening as fast as you’d like them too…. DON’T QUIT.

When things aren’t going the way you thought they’d go….. DON’T QUIT.

When doubt creeps in….DON’T QUIT.

When fear stops you in your tracks….. DON’T QUIT.

When comparison leaves you feeling discouraged…… DON’T QUIT.

Just • keep • going!

A seed does not grow overnight.
A human being takes 40 weeks (full term) to be created.
Olympic athletes train for YEARS & YEARS for a shot at a gold medal 🥇
Artists can paint for decades before selling a single painting.
Actors & Actresses are turned down countless times and play countless “small parts” before “making it big”.
Experts were all at some point beginners with a desire to learn.

Wherever you are in whatever journey you’re on just know that whatever your destination is, you’ll never get there if you stop or turn back now.

✨Start! Even when you don’t think you’re ready. You’ll learn as you go!

✨Make mistakes. They are the stepping stones towards your future success.

✨Set MASSIVE & seemingly ridiculous goals because the loftier your goals the more likely you’ll achieve more than you could even imagine.

✨check your excuses at the door. The only thing excuses are good for are people who are destined to stay stuck.

✨Time waits for no one and it is the one thing we can’t get back. Stop putting things off. Time will run out and it’s better to live with a basket full of Oops 😬 I guess that didn’t work out than live with a lifetime of “well s**t! What if I’d tried that!!”

And let but not least…. Stop giving away your power by caring what others think about who you are, what you do and what you say.
