repost Yesterday your Woodland Firefighters responded to a garage fire on the 900 block of West street. Reports of heavy smoke and flames were seen from the street side. Engine 2 arrived on scene and initiated an aggressive fire attack. All other units arrived on scene and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Truck 3 split for vertical ventilation and conducted a primary search.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Thank you to all members, including Willow Oak Engine 7, who responded and worked hard to keep this from spreading further.
