Sister Joyce Burnett-Barker passed on Easter Sunday She was a 50 year member of OES Chapter 291

There will be a public viewing at Hodges Funeral Home (Dignity) Naples Memorial Gardens
525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 on Friday, April 17th, at 6:30 pm.

The funeral will be at Hodges Funeral Home (Dignity) on Saturday, April 18th, at 9:00 am, with burial to follow.

Services for our dear mother, Joyce, will be Saturday April 18, 2026 at 9am at Hodges Funeral Home.

On May 8th we will be having Chapter Instructor visit and go over Floor Work. This class needs a quorum or reschedule prior to Official Visit on May 21, 2026. I personally don’t have much to work with as District Instructor is only available on Thursday and Fridays due to her work schedule. We have a lot going on the month of May.
If I would have been told prior to Good Friday afternoon I would have scheduled it and voted on at Meeting on Thursday.
We know 2 members (Joan-Minnesota Grand Chapter/ Anne vacation)will not be present on meeting in May.
Hopefully in May meeting Cathy and Patty will be installed.
They have to be by June meeting or we need to have someone step in and be Associate Matron. This is a Grand Chapter/Green Book requirement.

Hello my Beautiful Chapter!!
I get to go home today! Also Doc said severe allergic reaction! 1 in about 1000 get it! So I’m the 1%er!!!!
If all I have go wrong is allergic reaction I am good!! Thanks for all the love and prayers
