Spring Calves that will be available upon weaning!

2 Bulls- we think both will stay red. Ones full brother turned black with some silver. One is out of a Mater (Jennessa son) daughter and Matias (Elmo son). Another is out of Mater. Both come from females with great udders.

2 commercial heifers- both out of mater and actually 3/4 siblings. One is out a 10 year old beefmaster cow. The other is that cow’s daughter crossed with a sim angus bull.

WOW!! What a State Show! As a breeder, we had our first class winner with this pair in a super stout March class at the Texas Junior Brahman Show! We are still on Cloud 9 along with Bristol Smith on the stick to get her first belt buckle! We couldn’t be more proud of them!

Now, let’s talk about this pair! The cow is out of Miss CBR 610/6 “Tenley” and Mr. V8 714/7 “Mater” this mating is truly a production powerhouse with this cow, JF Lady Frost Tens 10/2, having her first calf at 25 months of age! While the calf is out of JDH Matias Manso 309/5 an Elmo Son!

Well somone out did themselves this Christmas by purchasing a Brahman pair as a Christmas Present from Bobcat Country Brahmans. This pair got added to our herd and we are excited to add BC Demiah Manso that brings some Hudgins bulls of Elmo, Charley’s Jazz and Parker while the heifer calf at side is out of Hagan that adds Beckton De Manso genetics to our herd.

Lady Frost 1/8 from a few weeks ago to 4 years ago! She’s had 2 bull calves within a year of each other. Now is carrying a calf due in November or December and she is bred to JDH Matias Manso 309/5, an Elmo son.

Yesterday, we had a class winner at the Pewitt FFA Alumni Jackpot! This commercial heifer is a little over 4 months old that is out of our Herd Bull Mr. V8 714/7, Mater, and a commercial cow of ours which is a Beefmaster and SimAngus cross. We are very excited for her future with Ashley Gilbert on the showstick!
