For our fifth season of the podcast, we have decided to skip the draft this year. Instead, we are going to cover ALL 34 NEW HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIES THIS SEASON! Some movies may be a "quick watch" ep, others will be full deep dives, but ALL of them will have laughs along the way.

Cousin Chad of the Christmas Cousins podcast joins Jennifer and Josh to revisit Hallmark’s The Christmas House. The Mitchell family is rebuilding an enormous holiday tradition while sorting through romance, parenthood, and a few decisions hiding beneath all that garland.

Emily is a Philadelphia seamstress happily dating Leo, until he reveals that “Leo” is actually Prince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia. One transatlantic trip later, Emily is navigating palace protocol, a frosty future mother-in-law, and an ex-girlfriend who arrives just in time to create some royal trouble.

Lacey Chabert brings the charm, Jane Seymour understands the assignment, and Jennifer makes a major declaration: This might be her favorite royal Hallmark movie.

We’re recapping the secret prince, the royal makeover, the scheming queen and everything else that makes this 2014 favorite work so well. Then we’ll deliver our official Gold or Coal verdict.

Mira Sorvino stars as a stressed-out TV personality who heads for the mountains, crashes her car in a blizzard, loses her memory and is rescued by Cameron Mathison, a widowed veterinarian with three kids.
You know. Normal Christmas stuff.

We’re recapping A Christmas to Remember, talking through all the wonderfully Hallmark-y amnesia logic, the surprisingly sweet family story, and why this 2016 movie worked for us.

Our 12 Pods of Christmas series continues as Joe from Christmas Aficionado joins Jennifer and Josh for Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus, quite possibly one of the most bonkers Christmas movies we’ve ever recapped.
We’re talking Santa succession plans, North Pole matchmaking, Christmas commercials, inexplicable magic, a surprisingly complicated search for Mrs. Claus and SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.
The movie gives us plenty to work with, and the conversation goes wonderfully off the rails.
So, is this ridiculous Christmas concoction worthy of Gold… or are we stuffing some Coal in Steve Guttenberg’s stocking?

Tanya and Ryan are mismatched detectives assigned to investigate a string of holiday heists, but when their surveillance operation gets blown, they're forced to pose as newlyweds and infiltrate the neighborhood Christmas committee.

And somehow… it works!

We're breaking down the mystery, the fake marriage, the Christmas shenanigans, some seriously fun chemistry between our leads, and everything else that makes this one such an entertaining Hallmark ride.
