We're excited to announce that we just spent an entire week writing with up and coming country artist Trinity Faith. The management over at AristoMedia on 16th Avenue called us up to pair our staff writers with Trinity, and of course we jumped at the chance. Today we congratulate staff writer James Tristan Redding () on the release of his brand new album, Look Out World.

Music City legend Greg Cole (notably of Daryle Singletary) has confirmed he'll be producing Eli Alger's forthcoming full length album, and among the tracks will be the Riverside future hit song, "You Can Have Wichita." If you've caught any of Eli's recent tour dates, you know he's been doing this one live for a while (as well as another Riverside track, "Dog Tags & A Wedding Ring", which was released on his first EP). We're all waiting with bated breath to hear which ringers Greg is bringing in for this, and we'll share a link to Eli's pre-save campaign as soon as it's available. In the meantime, big congratulations are in order to all three Riverside family and extended family songwriters: James Tristan Redding, Dan Rivers, and David Easterling. Happy holidays everybody, and happy birthday, Eli!

Congratulations are in order, and just in time for Thanksgiving: our staff writer, James Tristan Redding, has seen another collaboration taken into the studio and scheduled for release. Nashville songwriting and singing sensation Sarah Harralson has recorded her take on their holiday anthem, Snow Globe, and we're certain it will be everyone's favorite new carol this December. Go pre-save the song today and, after you listen, go give Sarah a little love on her Instagram or Facebook artist profiles. (Don't encourage Redding, it'll just go to his head!)

We are pleased as punch to announce that one of our staff writers, Bart Pursley, has an upcoming synch placement on MTV’s Behind The Music. The office team has been watching Behind The Music ever since it was on VH-1, in fact since it was bootlegged on VHS tapes from someone else’s VH-1 cable subscription! Bart was brought into the session to help finish Jason Aldean’s smash hit, “Amarillo Sky“, back in 2004 — a year before it was recorded and released to the public. We’re excited for Bart and grateful for every opportunity to help place his songs in the public’s ears and hearts.

As students of songwriting, we tip our hats to Mark Carson. Not only does he straddle several lines: between Nashville and New Orleans, between classic and modern, and between scholastic and professional. But he also reinvents himself, seemingly on a dime, whenever the moment calls for it. Riverside is proud to call Mark both a good friend and longtime collaborator, and we couldn't be more proud of his latest achievement. Two of Mark's songs have landed on the latest release from Mississippi trio Chapel Hart (as seen on America's Got Talent). It's a win for Mark, a win for Chapel Heart, and a win for the entire Riverside family.

October 24, 2021:

Well, today is a momentous day indeed. One of our staff writers has made history, by curating and carrying out a songwriting marathon called The Nashville 24. This event challenged writers from around the world to write 24 songs in just 24 hours -- gathering on a small historic former stock farm on the north side of town, staying awake around the clock, collaborating and keeping each other motivated all the way to the finish line. Who is this staff writer? Not surprisingly, James Tristan Redding. CMT Discovery artist Brian Collins has finalized an agreement with Riverside Publishing Company to record and release the track “I Should Have Known” from their catalog on his upcoming album Keep Walking On. Collins and Riverside were in discussions over the deal for months, and we couldn’t be happier that it came to fruition. Congratulations to the writers, RPC veteran Dan Rivers and of course Collins himself!

Nashville artist Eli Alger has negotiated a deal to release “Dog Tags & A Wedding Ring,” from Riverside Publishing Company’s catalog. Penned by veteran staff writer Dan Rivers and newcomer James Tristan Redding, the song fits perfectly in Eli’s catalog of both recorded music and live performance. Catch Eli Alger bringing the track to life on his national summer tour. Congratulations to Dan and James, and especially to Eli!

Acclaimed rock and Americana group Carson Station has secured the rights to take Riverside Publishing Company song “Crave” into the studio for an upcoming release. The group is based out of Louisiana and sells both concert tickets and albums nationwide. Big congratulations to songwriters Dan Rivers and Mark Carson from the Riverside family, we can’t wait to hear the final mix.
