Sometimes your day starts out picture perfect & sometimes you’ve cried all your makeup off before the end of the day
& that’s real
if you’re reading this, I hope you know there’s more than the highlight reel
behind the moments of encouraging you to grow closer to God, are the moments in prayer, crying out to God
the moments of believing God is moving, even when I can’t see it
to be honest - my relationship with God hasn’t grown from things going well for me….
but it’s grown in the moments of pain & heart break
it’s grown from surrendering my dreams and desires to Him
it’s grown from finding safety and security in Him
I hope if you’re going through a rough patch, you see it as an opportunity to lean on God even more ❤️‍🩹
