Introducing our EMT 140 Plate Reverb, originally from Record Plant NYC. As you can see this was #1 which is believed to have lived in the basement along with 3 others, while another 4 lived in the attic of the building. Artists such as Hendrix, Bowie, The New York Dolls and many more have traveled through this thing. With the help of Dave Latto, we were able to get this piece not just restored and working with very little noise floor. Come check it out!

We are coming up on our 5 year anniversary this month as Soultrain Sound Studios. But we are also coming up on 7 years since Randy Scruggs has passed. Randy was the original founder of Scruggs Sound, an amazing musician, and all around gem of a human. We made one promise to him, that was to keep this magical place a recording studio. And I am proud to say we have, and will continue to deliver that promise everyday.
