A year ago today, I shared that I had moved back to Roanoke, Virginia. My second stint in Roanoke was used to reset and find myself again after a tough stage of my life. I was lost and unsure about my future.
Today, I am incredibly happy to share that I have made the biggest leap of my life, and I have moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue my dream of music production! For my whole adult life, I have been chasing this career of helping others bring their music and songs to life. I have landed in a great spot in the area with other fellow creators where the opportunities are endless! I used my birthday trip to get a feel for what it’s like in Nashville to pursue music. I met some people and made some connections to make the move that much easier. That solidified my plans to get here. Nashville is exactly the place I need to be to make this happen. This has been a journey 16 of years, but the work has just begun.
A big thank you to my family for their love and support in my endeavor to get here. A special shoutout to my best friend, Alan Lang for his help in wrangling a U-Haul truck and car trailer from Virginia to Tennessee!
