NASHDADDY is a music artist, singer, songwriter, vocalist, musician, producer, and mixer with a varied range of musical genres that appeal to his artistic side. Also known as Michael Chapel, NASHDADDY is a Nashville-native with a rich family history in the music industry. Michael’s grandfather was Don Chapel, famed country music song-writer and once-husband of country music legend Tammy Wynette. M

ichael didn’t fall far from the musical roots of his family tree but his music has taken a decidedly authentic path for himself veering from what his family was known for – bluegrass, gospel, and country, and decidedly chose a different path in life and to his music – gritty, conscious hip-hop and rap, melodically spoken-word, and raw, industrial, indie alt-rock, with his lyrics and message to the world taking center stage. Michael’s proudest accomplishment in life is easily found in him raising his children. As a single father of four children, he has found passion and purpose in his lyrical song writing and his music, and through that very music and message, is healing his own wounds while telling a story that makes an impact on others around the world. Michael typically writes, producers/co-producers, records, and mixes most of his own music but is currently working with such notable producers and mix-master engineers such as Multi-Platinum Producer & Recording/Mix Engineer Dakari (J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, G-Eazy, Halsey, Demi Lovato, Charlie Puth, YG) and GRAMMY Winning Platinum Mixer Jeff Sojka (NF, For King and Country, Colbie Caillat) to craft a unique, lyrically-driven sound that the world must hear.

Last night was an honor and a blast playing the rooftop of JBJ’s Nashville for the Rock n Roll Opry! The band absolutely crushed it. Thank you Mike, 808, Sage, King Cal, and my fellow performers Rev, Cain Valentino, Nate Mac, My Friend Wiley, and Iyce! I'll have a lot of photos and videos coming soon from the show. I'll work on getting back to everyone soon! As it usually goes, I feel kind of depleted after a show and pouring my heart out and connecting, so just know I'm recharging to come back ready to give my all over and over again.

Last night - it was special. I could feel it. I'm grateful for every single person that came and showed love last night.

I'm so fu***ng excited for people to hear this new album I'm working on and for the sound to keep growing and evolving as it continues to be created. Really nothing anyone is expecting and it's only the next stepping stone to where this will go and the journey I want to take you all on. Thank you all who have rocked with me and believed in me, whether you streamed my music once or pulled up to a show or watched a reel or video or bought merch or created alongside me or simply shared your faith in me or a story that mattered to you in this journey. Stick with me. I promise God is taking this to the ultimate highest place and the music and message is going to reach far and wide. New music on the way and some live shows in the works so stay tuned!

We had a Hot Rod last night! This Mark Bush Racecar with Phantom Race Engines on King Matt American Racer South tires has been fantastic. Thankfully we were able to get Patricia E. Hamby in the victory lane picture this week. With a bonus of the newest edition to the family "Duke" (Jakob's new puppy) . Special thanks to everyone supporting us through the ups downs of racing season.
