There is a lot to process with Charlie Kirk being assassinated, the lady being murdered on the train, and yet another school shooting all happening this week. At some point we will address this on the show. Right now, this is where I am with this madness:

I wish I had the right combination of words to speak that would snap this country out the cycle of hate we are living through. I don’t.

I also don’t have the words to describe my disgust at some of the things I’m seeing on social media. I don’t.

I wish had the words to make a person who celebrates the murder of another person, or wishes death upon those who dare disagree with them to realize how disconnected from realiity they really are. I wish I could convince them to ask themselves the question “what kind of person am I?” I can’t.

I wish I had the words to adequately petition God for a revival in this country. A revival of spirituality, of valuing the lives of others, of the art of loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. I don’t.

But I’m trying every day. Because even though I don’t have the words, God listens. I fear that even if I had the words, most people would not.

Events of the past few days have shown is very clearly that the point of no return ia getting closer every day.

Give me the words, Lord, and I will use them.
