This past weekend I had the extreme pleasure of a visit from some holography legends! Rick Bruck, Doug Tyler, and Ed Wesly came a knocking. Interesting discussions on everything holo pursued and we even got in a little pulse time. Over 180 years of holography collectively in this H1 transmission.

Well it's not pretty, but it is working! Took 4 new components which we will tidy up and put back together once I have run it some to make sure no more gremlins exist. Energy is up 15-20% now that it is cooling properly. Many thanks to all with concerns and offers of aid. Now to catch up on past due holograms!

Recently I had the privilege to visit a old colleague who currently owns the largest laser collection in the world, and has professionally assembled this collection for public viewing. Vintage Lasers & Holograms. Located in Tempe Arizona, Mr. Bob Hess has over 500 lasers in his growing collection of the evolution of the LASER (Light Amplification of Stimulated Emission Radiation), arguably one of the most important inventions of our time. Also documented and on display is a very nice collection of display holograms (reflection & transmissions) to see which is being added to daily. All this with a guide whose knowledge base is through the roof! Did I mention it is currently free? I mean it, go see this guy and his wonderful museum!
