Next month (August 27th) is Mama's Lungaversary! 💚🫁 This whole year has completely flown by! I haven't done many posts these last few months as we are all just living our lives (finding our new norms) and settling into our new home. Mom is still doing great with only a few small road bumps.... these past couple of months. Her last two Bronch procedures showed some mild infection and mild rejection with her lungs. (Very normal in the first 12 months post transplant) It's all about getting her list of medications balanced and in perfect working order for her. We have full trust in her team! Her next Bronch is July 31st and we are hoping with the medications they have moved around on her that it has reversed any infection or rejection that was previously showing. If you could keep Mama Linda in your thoughts and prayers we would greatly appreciate it! Thank you ♥

How was everyone's Christmas? Larry and I took Mom to the casino and we all 3 had fun losing. Then we ate Christmas dinner at the Corner Cafe ☺ 🎄 🎅

Mama is doing well and we are celebrating her 3 month post double lung transplant on November 27th! Times flies when you're breathing well 💚🙌 She graduated pulmonary rehab Tuesday and looks forward to her many appointments becoming spread out. She does have a routine Bronchoscope Dec 1st where they go in and clean out her lungs as well as do biopsies for testing. We are thankful for all of your support and prayers. Enjoy your loved ones and be thankful everyday.

Since our family had been given the gift of additional years with Mandy’s grandfather through the miracle of organ donation, we knew we had to pass that gift along to others who were waiting on that call. We’ve been so privileged to know 3 of her organ recipients and are so grateful that they allowed us a place in their lives."
