The most exciting moment of the Finding Lucinda road trip thus far, Ismay hears from interviewee Wolf Stephenson that there is some archival material he wants to share from the concrete tape vault. After sitting on the shelf for 40 years, Wolf has finally brought three boxes down to review. He finds that there is something mysterious and unexpected in the third box, so Wolf and Ismay try to get to the bottom of what in the world this mystery box contains.

For today David Starr Music is pulling out Albert King's "Born Under A Bad Sign". An absolute staple of the genre, David learned it was written by William Bell and Booker T. Jones, both with Stax Records at the time. King went on to record a version with Allen Toussaint, as well as multiple live versions, including one with Stevie Ray Vaughn, and then the band Cream even covered it. He certainly didn't have bad luck with this one!
