This human has worked so hard to stay focused and determined. She did it and I couldn’t be prouder of her. She is now a United States Airman.
When” P”told me she wanted me to tap her out, I felt honored and couldn’t imagine not being there to watch her enter into a new phase of her life.
She will now grow, thrive and become the best version of herself she never dreamed.

It has been such an honor to watch her grow from an 18 year old kid to a 20 year old woman who is learning life is what you make it and the importance of surrounding herself with people that genuinely care and love her.

She has made every decision on this journey herself knowing people didn’t support her decision because of their own selfishness.
She faces adversity head on and knows how to ignore the ignorance of people and things that wanted to surpress her ability to thrive.

I’ve understood who she was then and who she is now since the day I met her.
She is one of the kindest, most pure hearted people I’ve ever met.
To know her is heartwarming and I’m a glad I found a friendship that formed into a solid bond as a mother and daughter. I didn’t need to birth her to love her as my own.
We have a bond that can’t be broken and we’ve proved that through so many situations.

P - I love you and thank you for making the choice to serve our country.
