"I was trying to imagine how a bird thinks. Can a bird count? Is a bird able to distinguish itself from other birds? How do birds know when to migrate? One question led to another. Recently, someone sent me a story by Guy de Maupassant called 'Love.' The story is eerily similar to this song."
