Acme Radio Live is an online radio station in Nashville, TN that operates out of Acme Feed & Seed. We are the unfiltered voice of Music City, showcasing all genres of music and broadcasting them worldwide. Our mission is simple: honor the past through preservation and look to the future by discovery. We celebrate heritage acts while shining a light on talented musicians who get by on a day job and

a dream. We do this by playing 60-70% local music, followed by carefully curated content recorded and mixed during our live in-studio performances or recorded shows from the Acme Feed and Seed stage and beyond. Along with a special event, non-profit sector of our station, Acme Radio Company, we have the ability to honor local music through charitable donations and special events that provide a safe space and platform for the music community in Nashville.

Introducing our Best Artist Ever (of the month), Christmas Edition - 🎁

With three critically acclaimed solo albums under her belt, and hot on the heels of her duets with Theo Lawrence recently released by Warner, what to our wondering eyes should appear this holiday season from the timeless sound of Melissa Carper, but A Very Carper Christmas—a fresh collection of future classic holiday songs brimming with equal parts nostalgia, sly humor, and goodwill for all. A Very Carper Christmas was released on November 28 via Soundly Music.

Carper credits the spark for a Christmas album to her friend Ben Kitterman, whose family has a tradition of putting her Daddy’s Country Gold album on repeat each Christmas season. Detecting her natural affinity for the genre, he challenged her to pen an album of original holiday compositions. What first felt daunting soon became a passion project. Carper reached out to her long-time friend and old Camptown Ladies bandmate, Gina Gallina, to see if she would be interested in co-writing the album. Barely an hour later, she received an email from Gallina with five witty ideas sketched out. Immediately inspired, Carper began adding melodies and chords to Gallina’s lyrics. It was on.

Fans can expect Carper’s signature stylings, from Country and Western Swing, R&B, to Folk, Cajun, and even some Latin vibes on A Very Carper Christmas! Carper will also support the great JD McPherson on his annual holiday tour in December 2025. It’s going to be a holly jolly Christmas this year!

- “Hey La” - Acme Radio Session

Fresh off a brand new record and supporting release show at beloved gallery space Soft Junk, local indie icon Tristen stopped by with her fantastic band to perform a couple songs off her fabulous sixth studio album, “Unpopular Music.”

Working with longtime collaborator (in both music and marriage) Buddy Hughen, the duo has crafted a delightful, jangle-pop joyride spanning ten songs. Here, the group performs standout “Hey La,” an affirming and easy-listening number that serves as a gentle reminder to give ourselves grace where needed.

Raucous, Denver-based group Jesus Christ Taxi Driver is here to party. Their infectious blend of classic garage and punk stylings will be stuck in your head for days. Here, the group performs unreleased tune “Lana Del Rey,” a cheeky number that captures the band’s attitude pretty succinctly while also poking fun at the concept of celebrity.
