Well I can't sleep again. I wanted to hop on and give and update on the RockStar Roadie Podcast Page

I haven't had an episode in a couple of week for a reason. Last year on a tour I got very sick with a bad throat infection and had to have emergency surgery on the show day. I went home for a few days to recover and rejoined the tour. I had a peritonsillar abscess which was partly on my vocal cords.

Everything is fine but there were some side effects that my doctor says will correct it self in time or possibly surgery. One of those is I either lose my voice or its hard for me to talk for a few days to sometimes a week or 2. The more I try to talk the more sore it gets, also the more I talk the faster my throat drys out.
2 of the glands in my throat called the parotid gland and the submandibular gland are not producing saliva or producing very little to help keep my throat moist so it very, very, very dry and I sound like a 900 year old Italian guy.

I have a great ENT doctor so it will be fine. It does not hinder me from doing anything else.

I know, I know but before you say anything I quit smoking 1 year and 1 month ago and I drink a ton of water every day. This is something that will take time to heal itself. I start a new medication to help tomorrow and the podcast should resume in the next week or so. I have some great guest lined up and I am looking forward to it.

Now I will try to sleep

**Update** I appreciate everyone but just to let you know I am actually fine I just have to limit my speaking its nothing rest or sleeping can heal everything is fine. I am as health as a one legged Rhino swimming in circles.
