The full moon Cineplex () in Hermitage is located in the same complex as a tattoo parlor and a haunted house. The horror memorabilia really sets the scene. The dinner and a movie ticket is offered on Friday and Saturday night nights, which you can find the lineup on their webpage. The ticket includes the movie, a drink, your dinner, and a bag of popcorn. Episodes of the twilight zone are shown before the movie and there are tables for eating and also chairs in the front of the theater if you buy a regular ticket.

Tag along on our fall adventure outside of Nashville 🍎

A short 30 minute drive away you’ll find the cutest farmstand ever at Lover’s Lane Farmstand. They have freshly made apple cider and butter, pumpkins, apples, and other fresh produce. They also have jams for sale. This is a self serve farm stand so you can scan The QR codes to pay. It is honor system, so please make sure you pay them the right amount!

The next stop is Polly sparrow bakery ()off the main Square in downtown Lebanon. This charming bakery has everything you can think of under the sun for such a small bakery. We are impressed by the selection and by the creativity. The staff there were wonderful. We ended up purchasing the Dubai chocolate croissant and the Japanese milk bread cinny. Enjoy the drive.

See how this famous sandwich from All’Antico Vinaio is made 🇮🇹

CEO and founder Tommaso Mazzanti flew in from Italy to show us how it’s done at the Broadway location in Nashville. La Paradiso is their delicious sandwich which features mortadella piled high on a stracciatella bread with pistachio and pistachio cream. Guests got to sample sandwiches and wine at their Broadway shop. There are two locations in Nashville with the other one being in the Gulch.

Founded in 1991 with its first location in Florence, Italy, All’Antico Vinaio is known for their quality sandwiches.

It’s that time of year again – – Nashville Scene’s Best of Nashville! When this time comes each year it’s your chance to show your favorite people, places, businesses and creators some love. When you vote for your favorites, we hope that you will consider a vote for BNA Best Bites for “Best food Instagram” (under the Media & Politics section).

This round up not only gives encouragement to your favorites to keep going, but puts them on the map for others who might not know about them. There are so many great food accounts that we would feel honored to be in the top three. Here are some reasons why You can consider us worthy of a vote:

✨ This venture has always been born out of a passion and we hope it shows. This passion is for highlighting places that we love to go in the hopes to share it with others. This is not a full time job (we have that covered) but a part time project that we happen to really enjoy.

✨ We like showcasing places local to Nashville and we especially love highlighting small businesses.

✨ We cover spots, not just in Nashville, but the surrounding middle Tennessee area. From Gallatin to Franklin and other areas we hope to reach those of you who are enjoying spots not just in Nashville, but getting outside of your neighborhoods and exploring more.

✨ After COVID, the food scene started changing dramatically. We spotlight lots of new places that are opening every day but we keep the tried and true favorites in mind so that they are not forgotten.

🏆 the most underrated burger in the Nashville Scene Burger week goes to…. 🏆

Mesero ()! 🥇

With heavy hitters who sling burgers like it’s nobody’s business, Mesero has a lot to prove. Their entry for Burger Week is the Rose Burger. With two griddled beef patties, melted cheese, tomato, lettuce and deli pickles it’s more of a classic burger entry. What takes it up a notch is the toasted challah bun.

We paired The Rose Burger with a watermelon basil cocktail (also can be done as a mocktail) and crispy fries. Mesero serves guests a trio of dips so best believe we indulged in those delicious snacks as well.

One of the best bakeries in Nashville~

FatBelly Pretzel Bakery & Deli () in East Nashville serves deli sandwiches on fresh bread and hand-rolled pretzels, baked daily. We’ve fallen in love with their giant sandwiches loaded with fillings and the bread truly makes these sandwiches stand out.

The K-DUB is for turkey sandwich lovers but this sandwich on a Dutch Crunch hoagie (IYKYK) is kicked up a notch or ten. With toppings of applewood bacon, avocado, Swiss cheese, potato chips, banana pepper mayo, mustard, lettuce and sub dressing it’s filling and satisfying.

The G-Netty chicken is far from your average chicken salad sandwich. With toppings of potato chips, pickled onion, melty American cheese, lettuce, pickles and mustard on soft pretzel hoagie, this is chicken salad’s cooler sibling.
