A preview of “Christmas at Gramp’s” 👴🎅

Starting December 1st, catch a different event every day at Gramp’s () in East Nashville.

Their signature puddin shots have been updated for the holidays with new flavors like the eggnog and milk & cookies. We had to get “The Big Daddy” hot dog in honor of the man, the myth the legend himself .

Things to do in Nashville for the holidays (kid-friendly).

Common Ground () and the Nashville Ballet () have partnered for a holiday pop-up “Nashville’s Nutcracker”. This is at the Sylvan Park location.

You will find colorful Nutcracker inspired displays all throughout the restaurant. There are themed cocktails, and the full menu for Common Ground’s bites. Bring the whole family for this fun festive pop-up and if you feel inspired purchase tickets to the Nashville ballets performance of the Nutcracker for a bonus holiday activity.

One of Nashville’s most anticipated new restaurants is now open 🔥

Expect playful drinks, a soft serve window, and quality eats at Sushi San () in 12 South from Lettuce Entertainment You ().

The interior is stunning as is the patio and bar area. Their menu is extensive with options ranging from Maki rolls, nigiri, appetizers and hot dishes. For the soft serve, we highly recommend the pineapple soft serve with the Ube chocolate dip before you leave.

Classic Italian motorcycle culture & pizza speeds into Nashville with their first weekend in business 🏁🍕

Featuring pizza options & more from Chef Wes Scoggins who you may know from his pop ups and events. While you eat these delicious creations along with a sidecar (specialty sauce) and grab a craft cocktail or drink you might also be tempted to purchase a new ride. The vintage motorcycles on display inside are all for sale.

If you feel the need for speed, then Moto Moda () in Wedgewood Houston will be your new favorite hang. Tag your pizza and/or hot rod buddies & come thru pronto ⬇️

Three Nashville businesses that will make your holiday stress-free 🦃🥧

For appetizers one of our favorite all-time places for appetizers is Germantown Café. We recommend ordering the butternut squash fritters and the chorizo stuffed dates

For the main courses for dinner the best grab and go and pre-order dishes you can find around are at In Good Company located in the shops at fatherland in East Nashville. Their stuffed turkey breast is incredible and stays moist even though you will reheat it when you get home. Their cornbread sausage stuffing is one of our absolute favorites. in order to place your pre-orders in time for Thanksgiving make sure you order by November 21.

For dessert you cannot beat Susie cakes. Their location in Greenhills is perfect for picking up other tablescape items while you’re at the mall and we love their mini cupcakes with the festive Thanksgiving sprinkles and their pecan pie, which is absolutely sinful.

✨Holiday Magic elevated at Geist Nashville ()✨

If you’ve ever wondered what it was like to dine inside a hot air balloon now is your chance at Geist. You can also dine in this historic building which was once a blacksmith shop in one of their festive rooms or the heated and covered garden area. There are ornaments and lights everywhere and the holiday season is merry & bright at Geist. The food is delicious and the service was friendly and attentive as well. This is the spot to celebrate the holidays!

This is THE perfect spot for Friendsgiving in Nashville! 😍 

We checked the Empo app () for results for family style dining and decided to check out Monell’s (), which replicates being at your grandma’s kitchen table. Follow all the house rules posted for maximum enjoyment for all. Diners sit at communal tables, passing around bowls of fried chicken and other Southern home cooked favorites.

Eat your fill, enjoy the company of all and have a happy Thanksgiving!

Looking to escape the Broadway chaos in Nashville? 🤠

Check out Buddy’s Tini Tonk () in the historic Arcade Alley. With the recent revitalization of this 1902 building, Buddy’s honors the history while being the newest and smallest h***y tonk in Nashville. This spot is a short walk from the Broadway h***y tonks so that you can quietly escape when the need arises (IYKYK).

If you get overstimmy like us and need to eat a sloppy Joe or walking taco in the corner while enjoying your drink (our pick: The 1902) then this spot is for you. Also, a shoutout to our new friend Taylor for being the best damn bartender in Nashville (seriously y’all be nice to Taylor or else…)

Buddy’s champions the lesser known figures in music, such as its namesake and legendary fiddle player, Buddy Spicher. The memorabilia is a walk down memory lane and summons a nostalgia that embraces the unsung music veterans.
