Some evening reso overdubs happening tonight.

There’s lots of awesome people to thank for helping the 13th Annual Slack Key Studio Christmas party be the party it was. Mark Forest and Pam Forest were/are a Godsend with complete party prep along with Kyle Knoth, too. Brad Stuart pitching in, Max Woolery Music and James Tillman with the last month of demolition before residing. Jared Finck and I got the place resided just in time and not only is he quite handy with a hammer, he can play his butt off on any instrument you hand him. Even Clay Krasner and his wife, RyLee Madison helping last minute since we were stuck in traffic with the food. Eric Thompson and Jason Rushton, couldn’t have done it without ya’ll, that’s for sure. Fun jamming with you both! And, most of all, Meagan Droke, who put in countless hours along with me decorating, painting beautiful decor tailored to Slack Key and thinking things through from every angle of this party. We all missed Chris Mason and her husband, Jimmy, who normally do our fish fry. Health problems kept them away, but they’ll be back next year once they’re back to normal. The day after the party is always spent cleaning and reminiscing of how the night went. We laughed as we forgot to turn on so many decorations that it’s ridiculous. Tight time frame really had us rushing this year. I sure am thankful to have these folks in my life and I feel very blessed that I do. The lucky 13th pulled off better than any of us thought. Thank you again for everything, a great year of music making with awesome talent I get to surround myself with and a recording facility that’s ever growing and changing.
