Happy Pride! 🌈 We often can't see internal self growth. This song is a celebration of that. It’s realizing your self-worth and that you have the power to change your external situation, but in order to get there you have to have that realization that you’re worthy of greater things.
This track is the lead single from my forthcoming album, “Bittersweet,” which will be available on CD at my live shows starting this month. Vinyl copies to come and a digital release will follow in 2023.

"Producer Brett Ryan Stewart (Wirebird Productions) created the musical backdrop upon which Erie’s lyricism comes to the fore. Of the video — shot by Anana Kaye and Irakli Gabriel of Duende Vision in East Nashville — he says, “I told them I wanted to do the whole video as a co**se being dragged in a field. Needless to say, they were able to take that idea and run with it.” Erie’s son, Hudson, plays the child in the video, with his wife, Kristin Indorato, and Rosemary Fossee sharing the role of “mom.”"

Wire Barn in the making
And so concludes an exhausting but very productive weekend! Here’s what we were up to at the WireBarn. From start to finish, we construct a soundproof vocal booth. It couldn’t have happened without great friends. First, Marcus Cooley , Aaron Cujo Cooley, and Sarah Cooley drove all the way up from Covington, GA to deliver this bad boy which they had for a brief time been using for ADR (automated dialogue replacement) on the set of major films and TV shows down in Atlanta. And thennnnn, my rock star wife proved once again how badass and giving of her time she is to my crazy musical endeavors by assembling the dang thing with me. And lemme tell ya, it’s heavy duty material. Just as the last screw was drilled, we topped off the weekend by putting it to immediate use recording a voiceover for a fantastic project coming soon to the @nasNashville Symphony by my friend, composer Chris Boardman. So now that I’ve talked all the way thru this time-lapse,which makes it all look much too easy, you might wanna rewind. 🦅 WireBird Productions 🦅 #LetsMakeAFlockingRecord

"Producer Brett Ryan Stewart (Wirebird Productions) created the musical backdrop upon which Erie’s lyricism comes to the fore. Of the video — shot by Anana Kaye and Irakli Gabriel of Duende Vision in East Nashville — he says, “I told them I wanted to do the whole video as a co**se being dragged in a field. Needless to say, they were able to take that idea and run with it.” Erie’s son, Hudson, plays the child in the video, with his wife, Kristin Indorato, and Rosemary Fossee sharing the role of “mom.”"
