The last week was a blast having our long time old friend Bruce Sugar in Nashville. Bruce was at John McBrides Blackbird Studio mixing the Ringo Starr album in Atmos that he is co Producing with T Bone Burnett. He has blessed career, working with Ringo, Joe Walsh and then of course all the amazing artists that work on the records with them like Peter Frampton, Steve Lukather Etc Etc the list goes on. Bruce stayed at the Hickory lake house for the last bit of his trip. So he and I got to write and track 1 cool song and start another in concept before he left. The last day I jokingly called it the Bruce Sugar tour, since we got to swing by our Powers Franklin Studio so he could see Kristin and then to see Danny Lux, David Kalmusky and our mutual friend (Country Music Hall of Fame) Songwriter)Gary Nicholson who has had 8 cuts on various Ringo album over the years. We stayed at Garys a while and the stories and memories were just fantastic and inspiring. Before leaving back to LA Bruce even got to see a few of our magical Lake Hickory Sunrises.

Thanks for the hang time Bruce, we'll leave the light on for ya!!
