The long road to copyright revision is nearing its end as the U.S. Senate passed the Music Modernization Act by unanimous consent Tuesday.

More photos coming soon. I had a wonderful time at NAMM and ASGN, Muriel Anderson's All-Star Guitar Night. Got to chat with Steve Wariner, Phil Keaggy, and Dave Pomeroy at NAMM and was elated to hang with my long-time friend Jack Pearson at ASGN (and Tommy Emmanuel, too!). It is awesome to see Jack being recognized for the amazing talent he has shared; it was '89 when Dr. John Duke introduced Jack to our MTSU Jazz improv class and I've been a loyal fan ever since. I'm headed to CAAS tomorrow and hopefully add more pics to the collection, to share, and the website. Living the dream. Peace Love n Music

Had a dragonfly stop by today so I ventured to test the new Nikon lens on a real life nature close-up. Must say I pleased with the beautiful bokeh of this Nikon glass. These are the original jpgs just cropped for size. Thanks to Diane Hughes for teaching me subtle nuances of photography

Here are a few photos from my recent Nashville trip. I went for CAAS (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) and spent 3 nights at 3rd & Lindsley: 7/12 Jack Pearson Trio; 7/13 Brent Mason Band; 7/15 Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night which is always a highlight of CAAS/NAMM week. I would like to thank Muriel Anderson for posting some of my photos on the ASGN website and including a nice photo credit. Life can be amazing when you work with true professionals. And these folks are among the best of the best.

It was time to reinvest in gear and $3,000 later, the new and improved, Word Wise Publishing is ready for business.Time to get back to work. My brand new 27" iMac rocks! I've also added some new photo/video editing software, updated my music notation software, and added a 6 channel recording interface (with midi). So whatever your photo/video/ or music needs... Life is great and now is the time.
