The Aaton A-Minima Super16mm film camera is one of the lightest reflex cameras ever made. Released in 1999, its low-profile form factor makes it perfect for handheld run-and-gun operation. It was only followed by the 416 as the last Super 16 camera designed.

Aaton has always been known for their stellar ergonomics and the A-Minima delivers with a comfy, bright eyepiece and just 4.4lbs of weight with the battery and film. The HD Video Tap means you can use an on-board monitor and Teradek like with any other modern camera. So while getting a vintage look, you still have a familiar contemporary workflow.

Our A-Minima package has all the right accessories for power and efficient operation. It comes with three 200' mags with daylight loading spools, unique to the A-Minima. Each mag will shoot approximately 5.5 minutes at 24fps.

Pair it with any of our super 16mm zooms (like the Cooke 10.4-52mm T2.8, Canon 8-64mm T2.4, and Canon 11.5-138mm T2.5) and you have an incredible zoom range in a tiny package. It’s time to embrace the grain!

The Venice 2 8K offers exciting improvements to an already beloved camera system.

The most practical improvement is the more compact body style that’s 44mm smaller and 10% lighter. Thanks to the fully internal RAW X-OCN and ProRes recording, you no longer need an external recorder.

The camera offers an enticing variety of resolutions and frame rates. Shoot up to 6K S35 or 8K full-frame, with 6:5 S35 and 3:2 full-frame anamorphic modes available. Dial in high frame rates up to 60fps in 8k full-frame and 90fps in 6k S35. A new firmware release in 2023 will allow for 6K 120fps and 8K 72fps.

The new 8K sensor is even better in low light with a dual base iso of 800 and 3200. The new AXS-M media and thunderbolt 3 reader are crazy fast and transferred 600gb of footage in just 8 minutes to an ssd; vital speed for offloading 8K footage.

Other welcomed improvements are an internal mic for scratch audio and a handy Zoom-to-Fit function, to bring less common aspect ratios like anamorphic full screen.

If they’re good enough for Ted Lasso, they’re good enough for us!

The Tokina Cinema Vista series hits a sweet spot. They’re modern, clean, and sharp, but still have an organic feel. These lenses cover every sensor out there, up to VistaVision, thanks to their huge 46.7mm image circle.

The Vista’s smooth focus falloff shines at their incredibly fast T1.5 aperture. That low light performance consistently applies to all 9 primes we’ve got from 18mm - 135mm. It also makes it easy to isolate characters in a scene with a shallow depth of field, just like Cinematographer David Rom did on Ted Lasso. At around 5lbs each, the lenses aren’t super compact, but that’s a reasonable compromise for their fast T stop.

The Vistas really have everything you want in a modern cinema lens: high resolution, low distortion, low chromatic aberration, an expanded focus scale, circular iris, and almost no focus breathing. They’re modern and safe, but not clinical or boring. Compared to similar offerings by Arri & Zeiss, the Vistas truly deliver a cinematic look at an incredible value.

ISCO4all combines three spherical cine primes and an anamorphic front adapter. The front anamorphic adapter is an upgrade of the famous ISCORAMA 54, which is a classic among anamorphic fans.

The three taking lenses are the compact, full frame, and fast T2.4 Dulens APO mini primes (43, 58 and 85mm). These lenses have a vintage quality, trademark rainbow flares, and can also be used entirely on their own.

We think that the Anamorphic adapter’s sharpness and horizontal flares are the perfect compliment to the Dulens rainbow flares, adding a distinct wow factor.

We've avoided other front anamorphics because they typically involve special adapters, cumbersome rigging, and dual focus. But this system is designed to work together, has single focus control, and brings tons of character in an affordable and compact form factor. The front anamorphic can also create a spinning anamorphic "mesmerizer" effect with a focus motor for another creative and disorienting style.

Full frame cinema zooms are rare. Vintage full frames zooms are almost unheard of. Enter our newly rehoused Canon FD 50-300mm T4.9 full frame zoom from . It covers Arri Alexa LF open gate throughout its entire zoom range.

This lens was Canon’s last FD off the production line in 1982, so it’s affectionately called the Final FD. It’s a perfect match for Canon K35 or FD primes, but also cuts with most vintage primes from the 70's and 80's. Its SSC coatings create low contrast images with bold flares and smooth bokeh.

During the rehouse, the original 8 blade iris was replaced with a 15 blade circular iris. Close focus was also greatly improved from 8.2' to just 6' and the lens front diameter measures 136mm.

While it’s not a compact lens, it is remarkably lightweight for its size and capabilities. It’s a big lens that delivers bigtime.

Angenieux continues its legacy of beautiful zoom lenses with the Optimo Ultra Compact 37-102mm T2.9. Designed for the FF/VV format, it features the modern Angenieux look with low distortion, minimal breathing, sharp focus with soft rolloff, and a pleasing balance of color and contrast. This is among the lightest full frame zooms available, coming in under 6 lbs.

Utilizing the Cooke /i technology, you can easily transfer metadata with the external connector to a drive or a display unit.

You may be familiar with our PL mount Canon FDs, now we’re excited to offer a set of the rarest SSC and aspherical FDs available.

These Canon FDs were hand-picked for their SSC coatings and pristine quality, then modified to EF mount for cinema by . The SSC aspherical 24mm f1.4, 55mm f1.2, & 85mm f1.2 have gained near legendary status, and this set has them all! It also includes a 200mm f2.8, the impressive 14mm L, and the 135mm f2 which are not available in SSC.

Why SSC? This is the earliest incarnation of Canon’s Super Spectra Coating that enhances the vintage look and warm flares the FDs and K35s are known for. On top of that, their compact build pairs perfectly with small rigs (like the Komodo or FX6).

We’re no strangers to rehousing lenses around here, but even we were blown away by the skills brought to the table. His reimagining of the FD housing is both stunning and functional. In his own words: “Brushed aluminum has never looked so sexy.”

The Elite S-7 2X Anamorphics are some of the most distinct lenses in our inventory.

They provide a range of looks and styles across different T-stops. At T1.9 these are some of the fastest anamorphics out there. Wide open they offer a dreamy look, with pronounced vintage lens characteristics: highlight blooming, monster bokeh, and edge softness. Stopped down to T2.8 or 4 they sharpen up in the center and provide a more tame, but still textured look.

These Soviet lenses create complex, smooth magenta and green flares; a refreshing change from the harsh blue lines commonplace in many anamorphics. They are full of charming surprises; depending on the light’s angle, they can pop off with gorgeous veiling, soft streaks, or subtle rainbow flares. Their curved aperture blades add the swirl of Cooke Speed Panchros to the already stylized vertical bokeh, making them like none other.
