TerraValley v4.0 Beta Test 0.1 is Live and ready for download! Link in comments.

The new beta build is now available to download. This release focuses on overall polish and map quality with a major upgrade to object and terrain textures across the entire map.

All existing race courses have been visually overhauled without changing their layouts but increasing some of their flow and fun. Surfaces, details, and overall driving feel have been refined. If you haven't run the race courses recently make sure you give them another pass because they feel noticeably better.

New trails are included as well, covering everything from relaxed trail riding to technical rock crawling and steep hill climbs. There's a lot more variety and challenge depending on how you want to drive. I won't point everything out so you'll have to do some exploring to find the new stuff.

This is an active beta so feedback is important. Download it, put some time into it, and let me know what works and what doesn't so I can keep pushing it forward. Leave feed back and encourage your friends to get the Beta Tester role and try it out.

I've released an entirely new mod that has a huge imapct on BeamNG Racing all together!
Custom Checkpoint Timer - Initial Release

A precision checkpoint timer for BeamNG that lets you set start and finish points anywhere on the map, track your runs, and log times with automatic leaderboard sorting. This is functional in BeamMP, and there is a full breakdown on how to use the app in my group chat.

This is a GAME CHANGER if you and the boys like to race and don't like keeping time manually. It's all automated now. Links to where you can get it in comments!

Official JtmwTV Tire Thermal Release v1.2 is available for Supporter download NOW!

What changed:
After extensive feedback about tire temperatures building too quickly when spinning on rocks at highway speeds, and under offroad racing scenarios as well.
- I've revised the high-speed heat dampening system. Heat generation now reduces much more aggressively above 30mph while cooling increases if the vehicle is making strong forward progress.
- PSI is now taken into account for your heat generation.
- General feedback and bug fixes from v1.1

v1.1 Tire Thermals is live. Big tire update.

You can now choose DOT or NON-DOT tire compounds in the UI. DOT runs cooler with lower grip, NON-DOT heats faster and grips harder same as a sticky tire int he real world!
Your choice sticks until you change it.

Worn tires are fully rebuilt. Worn rubber can still come alive once you get heat into it. Terrain heat generation is fined tuned.

Crawling keeps heat in, racing cools tires at speed. You’ll see BROKEN IN at peak grip and HOT when you overcook them. Overheating is capped, so pushing is still rewarded.

This update exists because of Patreon and Discord feedback.
Mod Access gets you stable, finished less often releases.
Beta Testers get early builds and help shape features before they’re locked in.

FUNCTIONAL TIRE HEATING ON ROCKS WITH INCREASED TRACTION!

Offroad Tire Thermals

This is the tire physics mod I've wanted for rock crawling for a long time and it's finally real.
Spin your tires on rocks or asphalt, build heat, get significantly better traction.
Push too hard? They overheat and start to degrade.
Keep the same set of tires alive?The life of the tire will slowly fade and so will traction after a certain point. But get your tires to the sweet spot and you'll have the perfect broken in set of tires.

Loose surfaces like dirt, gravel, mud, grass - won't build heat.
Only high-friction fighting-for-traction surfaces. Weight transfer is factored in - climb a steep incline and your rears are carrying the load and heating up more than the fronts.
Tires break in, hit a sweet spot with bonus grip, then gradually wear down.
The mod detects worn/bald tires from the parts selector and starts them at reduced life. Different terrain cools at different rates - rock holds heat the longest, water cools fast.

Full UI to show temps, life, traction multiplier, whatever you want.
This changes how rock crawling feels in a huge way.
