He may have built it for Baby Boy, but his little girl sure feels lucky to be able to call him Dad🥹♥️ Yall I will never get over the fact that I get to have this masterpiece in my house like what?!?! 90+ hours of love and sweat went into this build and Dad didn’t even blink an eye. We’ll get a coat or 2 of polyurethane on it now and then break it down to get it back to Nashville. The plan is for my parents to drive it down in September, right before Baby gets here!! FUN FACT: the mattress platform can be moved down once he gets bigger, so hopefully that will extend the time we’ll get to use it. But of course the dream is that it’ll stay in our family for years and generations to come♥️ thank you for loving on my Dad and celebrating this adventure with us!! We love you guys!!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

So often my anxiety is fueled by feeling out of control. Not knowing what to do. Being overwhelmed by my options or the magnitude of something in front of me. But I can control smoothing out a piece of wood. I can control building a shelf I’ve envisioned. I can control fixing a mistake I make along the way.

The best thing I ever did for my anxiety was pick up a power tool.

And now when she comes calling, I have something that helps me through it. What’s your power tool? Paint by numbers? Gardening? Crochet? I wanna know what helps you through the dark🕯️✨

🙄Biggest SNOOZEFEST: ACOTAR by Sarah J Maas (I know I’ll get hate for this but if I have to read an ENTIRE BOOK for something to “get good” I’m out😂)

🤯Best PLOT TWIST: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros (I’ll never get over it)

😍Best COVER: The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune (sweetest EVER!!!)
